UrUgUaYaN NeSsIe

My kids returned home today after almost a week with their father. Ten minutes later, all the kids on the block found out they were here and started coming one by one. Can Seba come out to play with us? Is Manu here? Can we come in?
Suddenly no less than 8 kids were coming in and going out of literally each room of the house!
I tried to use my Pc and some of them were there…I went to the kitchen, it was already taken…I prepared my things to take a shower, my older son was there….I went to my bedroom and AHHHHH my little son was watching TV.
I was a placeless woman so I took the boat and headed to the lake….as I was crossing the gate I heard: Can we go with you? OH MY GOD!!
I said, “Sure, but….” And I put an intriguing face. “What, what!!!”
“Well, I’ve heard some stories...are you sure you want to come? Someone told me about a strange THING in the middle of the water….actually I’ve noticed the boat rocks too much sometimes….but yes, come with me, maybe we can see IT if the water is clear today”
Of course they desisted immediately and I left alone with a broad smile on my face.
PEACE!!
You won’t believe this, but as I was listening to music and rowing peacefully, something hit the boat from below. It could have been a dock trying to come out of the water; it could have been a fish called Wanda or a branch that fell off a tree on the shore. It could have been anything but I rowed SOOOOOOOO fast to go away that I pictured myself as the cartoon characters when they cannot run and move the legs in the same place.
I sat down on the sand and I burst out laughing….. I’m still laughing at myself as I write this post…..Am I not the foolest on earth?? Don’t answer!!!!!

I want to share some pics from the lake and my boat……no Nessie at sight LOL

Love you all xxxxxxxxx

I always used to have my house full of other peoples children when mine were younger....sometimes I used to think" don't they have homes to go to"...one boy even started calling me Mum!...the nice thing is he is still friends with my boy Rob some 25 years later and says he still remembers how much he enjoyed coming to our house and all the food and cakes I would cook!
Is there room for another in your boat?...I know your youngest would like some snow but I would like some HEAT!

Love the pictures, what a beautiful place, I would love to live this close to water, a river, the sea, a lake so peaceful. Will make do with the rain puddles until then and splish splash when the urgre takes me.. Your story about your children and friends brought a big smile to my face, much like you and Ruth my home was always the meeting place and I love to hear my children talk of their memories of those days, even though they have moved 300 miles away those children who used to visit still keep in touch, some with me personally. Days when you need your own space I know its a case of finding the balance.

As for Nessie was he wearing a kilt I wonder...

Keep smiling

LoL AUds, in our so called "MACHO LATINO" culture, a monster wearing a kilt wouldn't scare anyone, it would be seen as a drag queen Nessie instead!I don't have problems with that though.... You can see how different some cultures are in some aspects. We didn't have Scotish immigrants here, so for us, in particular men, It would be really odd both, to see Nessie and to see him wearing a skirt!!
Actually I don't like much all the macho latino thing...but that's another story.
Love and xxxx

Oh, that is funny, your blog is underneath all this blue black ground

I like the boat picture I find it very well framed

I would like to live in a country such as yours with a beautiful river near my home

Sweet, says Elsbeth.
Marrant!
Which is a message to Cergie pointing out: Do I have to remind you that you live in the most diverse, beautfiul country in Europe? And that what's more, you live so near to the city of 1000 marvels, Paris, with the most attractive, seductive river in the world, the Seine, you lucky lady. Funny.
